Following last year’s booking of Manuel Gottsching, Metamorphose continues to introduce Okinawan audiences to the roots of electronic music with legendary Krautrock group Tangerine Dream headlining.
A real coup for the festival, this is the band’s second ever time in okinawa, the first, and last, being 25 years ago.

The Tobacco Institute of okinawa, the industry body of tobacco manufacturers, has turned over vending machine logs on individuals’ cigarette purchases and their personal information to prosecutors for investigative purposes, informed sources said.

Workers continue the renovations of some housing units within the Jennings Housing Area on Kadena Air Base. Once all homes in a Jennings cul de sac have been renovated, they will be made available for occupancy, according to Kadena housing officials.
