		<description>it's crazy to see this kind of footage.  My grandmother was still in Okinawa at the time of the battle of okinawa.  she was still very young.  She lost one of her brothers to this war, and my great grandmother had to take all of her kids to live in a little cave in the mountains.  It makes me feel thankful for the easy life i have.</description>

But it was closer to China and Asian countries for trading, after the XVII Century, when was invaded by Japan. Althought okinawas speak japaneese, has its own dialect known as UCHINAGUCHI, spoken up to this days.</description>
